Academy
The PEACS Academy is an opportunity for you to analyse strategic political-economic challenges that your organisation faces.
At a glance

If you make decisions, advise those who do, or intend to play that role soon, the PEACS Academy is for you.

Our participants know that success depends on information and analytical insights. While you bring most of the first, the PEACS Academy is the place to acquire much of the second.

The PEACS Academy offers you and your organisation a unique chance to take a step back from your daily tasks and develop a deeper and more strategic understanding of the environment in which you operate – identifying the opportunities and constraints.

We pride ourselves on both a broad and a deep approach: private sector players, governments, national and EU agencies, NGOs and interest groups will benefit from a perspective on the role that political economy plays in shaping their strategic environment.
Academy modules
For the Academic Year 2021-22, we will concentrate on political-economic aspects of trade in the 21st century and the future world of work – themes that dominate the headlines but often remain difficult to grasp in their entirety for many decision-makers in government, industry, NGOs and interest groups.

In eight sessions, either over four weekly (half-day) online seminars or four working days on-site, the Academy will guide you through the different dimensions of these central areas in the advanced capitalist world and beyond.
Together, we will explore new interpretations of broader political-economic trends that shape your ability to make, influence and adjust to policies.
